New volunteer referral bonus. Beginning December 1, 2008, current Guthrie Volunteers will recieve a 5 hour bonus in rewards if you refer a new volunteer. SOME RULES APPLY: You must have volunteered for the Guthrie for at least 10 hours to be eligible. The volunteer you refer must work at least 10 hours before you receive the bonus. This offer only applies to referrals that occur after December 1, 2008.

Guthrie Volunteers are invited to the Guthrie Costume Shop Christmas Stocking Party.
Friday, Dec. 5 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The costume shop provides a blank stocking and you decorate it. All decorated stockings will be sent to the Aliveness Project of Minnesota. There will also be some snacks and drinks.
You must RSVP to attend the Stocking Party, so that they have a stocking on hand for you to decorate.
Please RSVP to christiner@guthrietheater.org or 612-225-6319 by November 28 if you are able to attend.
You will need to show your Guthrie volunteer badge to attend the stocking party.

1 Reward Hour for each Backstage Tour ticket
Do you have family coming to town for the holidays? Why not show off where you volunteer your time? Tours are approximately 45 minutes and take place on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. To book a tour contact the box office or visit in person with your reward vouchers.

Want to learn more about the Guthrie? This self guided Ipod tour is narrated by Joe Dowling and familiar Guthrie actors. This fascinating experience will tell you about our theater's history and the building's design, highlighting many points of interest. 1 Reward Hour for each ticket for the Shadowlands "How'd They Do That?" workshop

In this workshop, participants learn how Guthrie artists and staff create a prodution. The speakers for this workshop are Jo Holcomb, Guthrie Dramaturg and Trevor Long, Guthrie Assistant Production Director and a member of the acting company.

Volunteers can still get rush line seats for 2 Volunteer Rewards hours each. This offer applies to Shadowlands and A Christmas Carol. Join the rush line and present your Volunteer Rewards as payment. No advance reservations, no priority over paying patrons, no guarantee of seats, seat location, or seats together. Call ahead to check on ticket availability.
Of course, you can always bank your Volunteer Rewards hours for future opportunities. Banking your hours means you have 6 months from the month you worked until they expire, so you have up until then to use them. They expire at the end of the month listed. Keep checking this space or call the Volunteer Hotline at 612.225.6043 for the latest information. We reccomend you check here at least once a week to make sure you are getting the latest info.
Redemption Policy
Volunteers who wish to redeem Volunteer Rewards hours may reserve seats over the phone if it is more than 3 days before the performance you wish to see. Your reservation will be held for a maximum of one week, or until 3 days before the performance, whichever comes first.
The Box Office Window conducts business for current performances only from 1 hour before the start of every performance until at least 15 minutes after the start of every performance. If you wish to redeem Volunteer Rewards hours for future performances, please visit the Box Office earlier or later than the stated times.
