Community Giving

Since its founding in 1963, the Guthrie Theater has been embraced by a generous community of donors committed to supporting one of the world's greatest theaters here in Minnesota. Each year, more than 80% of all contributions to the Guthrie come from individuals and families. Community Giving donors make individual contributions of $50 to $1,999. Tyrone Guthrie Circle

Named in honor of the theater's founding artistic director, Tyrone Guthrie Circle (TGC) members provide significant support for the theater with annual gifts of $2,000 or more. Depending on gift level, TGC-exclusive benefits may include luncheons or dinners with visiting artists, invitations to all special events and opening night dinners, opportunities to use Guthrie facilities for personal gatherings, complimentary scripts and more. Corporate Matching Gifts

The Guthrie applies all employer matching gifts towards the individual donor's benefit levels. Some companies provide this benefit for both current employees and retirees. A corporate matching gift may advance you to a higher donor level. Please check with your human resources representative to see if your company matches employee gifts.
