Fifteen years ago Una and Ray were involved in a relationship. They haven't seen each other since, but now, at age 27, she's found him again. Stephen DiMenna, a veteran of both the Guthrie (Tiny Island) and Pillsbury House Theatre (Jesus Hopped the A Train, Bug, Bel Canto) will direct the production, which features Tracey Maloney (Pillsbury House Theatre: [sic], The City of Dreams; Guthrie: Peer Gynt, Private Lives, The Glass Menagerie) as Una and Stephen Yoakam (Pillsbury House Theatre: Bug, Guthrie: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Major Barbara, Hamlet) as Ray. This critically acclaimed play marks the first time Pillsbury House Theatre will perform in the Dowling Studio.

The artistic team for Blackbird includes Joseph Stanley (Set Designer), Michael Wangen (Lighting Designer), C. Andrew Mayer (Sound Designer) and Heidi Hunter Batz (Costume Designer).
