A week of fun with language, passion and Shakespearean "magic." Spend a week this summer with the Bard as we concentrate on the works of our greatest playwright, William Shakespeare. Led by experienced classical Guthrie actors, students will undergo training in acting, voice and movement using Shakespearean scenes and sonnets. Work with the language of a Shakespearean text. Wield a staff! Rip off a string of Elizabethan insults! Be a bawdy clown or a wicked villain. No previous experience with Shakespeare necessary.
